Our church participates in the community Meals on Wheels which provides hot lunches five days a week to shut-ins who are unable to prepare meals.  First United Methodist serves the first week in every month and contributes financially to its program.  Our church provides volunteers to deliver the meals to the houses, making a personal contact as they greet each shut-in.
